Temples

There are many active temples in Kinmen because local people take spiritual well-being quite seriously. Incense smoke carries worshipers' wishes skyward. Loud gongs, drums, and firecrackers are expressions of genuine gratitude.  Following a long line of tradition, many Kinmen people's schedules are directly impacted by activities in the temples throughout the year. You're welcome to step inside any of them no matter what you believe.
